Carol Wilson
Former Other, Baritone
- Bio/Profile
-
Carol Wilson joined Eastside in early 2022. She loves singing harmony and feels right at home as a Baritone. She started singing in choirs in grade 7 (Alto) and has sung in many choirs all her life. She returned to York University in 1990 to get a B.F.A. in Ethnomusicology and stayed to do an M.A. with a thesis on Anna Russell, a musical clown.
The barbershop-style is a challenge that for her is exciting and deeply rewarding; when the professionalism of Sweet Adeline's great musical training is combined with the lovely people at Eastside. Now retired, she enjoys clowning, gardening, Toastmasters, musical composition, painting, earth-friendly living, home balancing...and, of course, singing at Eastside.
