This is a presentation of a notable award to a truly special member
— someone who has been steadfast in her support, dedication, and love for this chorus.
Whether she needed us or we needed her, Pam Moore has always been there for us.
And today, we are proud and honoured to recognize everything she has given to Eastside Harmony.
Pam, I remember the moment I nudged you — okay, maybe dragged you — into this crazy, wonderful,
one-of-a-kind group of women.
I knew from the beginning that your deep musical knowledge and incredible talent would be an absolute gift to Eastside. But more than that, I knew that you would benefit from
the sisterhood, the laughter, and the support that only this group can provide — and that we would be ALL the better for having you in our midst.
And what a gift you've been. From the early days when you stepped up front and center
for voice placement with Erin (how nerve racking was that), to more recent years where you’ve quietly held space from behind the scenes,
your presence has never gone unnoticed.
In fact, your name has been whispered often, always with respect, affection, and a knowing smile.
You’ve had an uncanny sense of our goals, our challenges, and our journey — and whether in person or through a perfectly timed Facebook Live comment, you’ve always cheered us on with your amazing ear, thoughtful insights and kind encouragement.
One of things that chorus members always appreciated
was how incredibly diligent you were in learning your music.
Seriously — if there was a gold star for practicing, Pam,
you’d
have your own constellation. And speaking of gold stars… let’s just take a moment to honour the fact that you sang baritone — arguably the most thankless, brain-bending, unsung hero part of the chorus world.
That, in itself, is a lifetime achievement!
You also brought something incredibly special to our group: your guitar. You elevated our sing-alongs and sing-outs with your musicality — and let’s be honest, everything just sounded and felt better when you were strumming along. You added rhythm, harmony, and heart to those moments in a way that made them truly unforgettable.
You’ve always been so kind, so practical, sometimes so analytical with that BLUE BRAIN but always open to learning and to stepping in where help was needed.
That spirit has shaped our chorus in ways big and small — and it’s still with us, even when you can’t be.
Pam, please know that you’ve been in our thoughts daily, weekly, constantly — as you’ve been walking through some very difficult health challenges.
We miss you deeply, and we love you endlessly. You have always been, and will always be, welcome in our chorus family.
So today, with full hearts and deep gratitude, we present this notable award to you — for the musician, the mentor, the friend, and the chorus sister you are.
You represent everything Eastside stands for, and we are beyond proud to celebrate you.
With all our love — and a standing ovation from every single member — congratulations, Pam.
